UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, BTN raises to 10.4 BB, fold, Hero raises to 30 BB, fold, BTN raises to 179.4 BB and is all-in, Hero??

it smells like AA but this player is not a nit and i dont have such a large sample size.
with my strategy i never fold KK but in some rare spots like this where the player is a total nit.

would you fold?

He looks less "nitty" than some of the other seats. I don't think this can be folded pre-flop. He may have aces, but he may also play QQ+ the same.

I don't see anything suggesting this is one of those rare spots. What makes this hand so different that you think it might?

Given the button's stats, I would not fold KK in this situation.

I am never folding here.
You haven't shown his 4bet stats either so how can you be certain he is only doing it with AA
His 3bet stats are around 7% so Im Sure he could play QQ and AK this way.
To answer your question if a player was a total nit I am still never folding KK pre flop.

Memorize it... if you say your opponent ONLY has KK+/AK in his range, you're 47% in this spot. Unless you own a crystal ball or are a mind reader, I think that's the tightest reasonable range you can put someone on in this spot.

I'd call an all in shove against the villain. 7% 3 bet range. looks pretty loose especially given his aggression factor. I'd call off. Just depends if you can still play good poker if you lose on the flop. If you can't. Just fold.

BTN versus BB so yes make the call. It is 70 BB for you to call and the pot will be 203 BB so you only need ~ 35% to break even.

If UTG jams, then it's aces, not necessarily the case against this player. I call KK there, especially when you make such a large 4 bet.

Folding cost 30bbs which should not be forgotten

Against pocket rockets we lose 19bbs out of our 100. Add kk alone and we're around 30.

Call all day

thats a call, even against tighest of ranges we're getting the odds and the price to call, even if he only has QQ+AKs+

forgot to mention it was zoom, he might 3bet very lose in this spot but what i see is that regs almost always 5bet KK+ when utg is involved.

somehow i had that tell that he got it, maybe because he reacted so fast.
i made the call just before turn timer ran out as it was my plan when i 4bet anyway and he had AA.
it was just very strange cause i knew i lose as i called.
but i guess you are right guys, there was one time where i did fold in a similar spot and 2 players shoved QJo and JJ..... since that hand i never fold.
btw had KK vs AA like over 5 times today and sucked it out twice lol

Insta-call, Unless his range is EXACTLY AA you are getting the odds to call. This is a cash game and if you get stacked there is always a rebuy.

I mean would you play AA like this?
