Villain is terrible in a pre-boom way, raises for information, folds solid showdown value hands getting great odds based on "live reads," in his 40s and probably doesn't play online poker. Probably doesn't play $2/$5 regularly, either (it's a big game to be really bad at).
History: He has been shortstacked most of the night but caught a 2-outer to get his current stack. We had only been involved in one small hand where I donked AT from SB on Txx board into 3 people, BB and he called; I donked K turn, BB called and villain says he folded AT.
My image is probably very LAG and I had been caught in a huge bluff earlier in the night.
Action is 7-handed, UTG folds, Villain ($400) is UTG+1 and limps, BTN ($600) limps.
I have KQcc in SB with $600 and make it $30. Super LAG internet pro BB folds, Villain calls and BTN folds.
Flop (pot $70):
I bet $45. He pauses says, "I like that bet." He makes it $90.
I think a long time and finally call.
Turn ($250):
I check, he checks
River ($250):
Effective stacks are $280, Hero bets how much?
I regret not betting the turn but that's with the benefit of more information than I had at the time. In retrospect it seems the turn is like the best possible card that doesn't hit me as it reduces the nut combos he'd limp-call pre, min-raise flop with.
Also, anyone want to fold the flop?
