Ok so i'm not sure what to do here. Villain is an unknown. So when villain raises he might be doing it with an over pair, two pairs, sets, maybe pair+SD. Not sure if i should've jammed flop but when he checks the turn what should we do and what's our plan on the river?

I think my standard would be to check behind. Once he misses value on the turn u can assume he doesn't now have the straight but a few other combos that beat you but also alot of bluffs which he tried to get you to fold the flop with.

Get to the river cheaply then call a bet if made on a non 5 card straight etc. I'd even call an a or a k river. Then take a note at his line.

I can't see you getting him to fold a set or two pair with a flop jam or a turn bet.

Plus how Are you getting on at this limit?
