Hero has been LAG, fairly short stack compared to table, around 250BB deep.

Villain is a spewtard who uses simple aggro to win pots. Bluffs a bunch but also mixes in some value bets. Covers hero by around 300 BB.

Would fold this one as your hand is only third pair I am sure you will arrive at similar situation against this villain with a better hand and then you can call him off.

Just fold it. Your are not committed to the pot. Even though you know he has huge bluff now you only beat bluffing. In your range you should have better hands to call such as AQ, A9s, maybe some K9s.
Next time you can try to check most of your range on the flop to control the pot size facing this maniac. Value bet heavier when you hit a better hand.

By the way I am a PHD and one more year to graduate...Poker is fun and just go for crushing it!
