re: Poker & $200 NLHE 6-max: K3s semi bluff vs BTN with flush draw
As others have said this is a fold pre flop. As played though I really dont love any of the options you have after you get raised. Folding is way too weak and would bring up the question of why even play this hand then. Calling I dont like since you are dependent on hitting your card and depending on the villain they will not put any more money in the pot when a 3rd heart hits so your implied odds are not much or nothing. Jamming I dont like because villain is telling you they have something with the raise (yes there are some bluffs here but there are many more strong hands than bluffs with the raise here) and unless they are villain that will fold Ax here (some will some wont) then you are going to get called putting in bad. It also does not count the times that your opponent has Ax with the Ace of hearts. Even if they dont have a second heart it is not great and when they do you are really behind. If I knew nothing about the opponent I would probably say out of my options I like folding the least and jamming the most. Again though, I dont like any options and I try to avoid playing hands that will put me in these spots where I dont like any of the choices available to me.
