888 Poker - $0.20 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 91.7 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 3)
Hero (SB): 97.5 BB
BB: 78.2 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9:heart: 9:spade:

BTN calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 5 BB, BB raises to 16 BB, BTN calls 15 BB Hero ?

Can I shove here or should I fold? Thank you guys :)

no stats on villain but typically against a short stacker this is a good flipping hand. Bare in mind he will have better overs sometime but most of the time Ax Kx and baby pairs depending how bad.

Id want more info on him though but its a shove or fold.

No reads, bleh. I probably fold being in the dark, but if you had some sort of inkling about how villain's play, I'm cool stacking off.

Please don't call in horrible position with a hand that makes mostly 2nd pair.

Hi. With two unknown players in for 16BB already 99 would be a fold for me. That could change of course with some information about the BB.

My friend you just 3 players! It is honoring the heads up! I do not know about you but 3 max table arm 99 is a monster hand! But much depends on a range of bb, its range is wider protection. And what is it in itself a player? Since the limits are low and play at 888, where the field is weak, but not impossible to think that it is worse, the probability of his hand better than ours too! And you can help your ability to read opponents!

Limits low, players weak, so with 99 i'm feel good stacking off,
in 3-handed play, i think it's good.

I see merit in calling... should at least consider the option...

+1

I was surprised to see any other opinion really. But it’s probably the difference between NL5 player vs NL20 player. We have some fold equity I guess, not that much I assume, at best we are flipping (tripping?) with 99. Only way to make shoving profitable is that at least one players thinks 22-88 is worth getting it in, and given this is not a tourney I can't see it happen.

Call and fold if flop doesn't give you 9 or strong draw. Catch three of a kind.
And fold would be right move too. If opponents don't like to put the money in pot postflop.

Thank you guys. I ended up shoving..But I'm not sure if this was the right decision. But the result was funny, because both called and the BB was crushed. But the BTN showed me JJ lol
