As played you made no mistakes post flop.
Preflop we should be 4 betting our hand. This is a hand we want to force the third player to have to pay more to chase and we can get all in vs the SB preflop.
If the flop comes A96 rainbow we get zero $ from SB when we were 63% preflop. We have to push those edges preflop.
Of course you still lose this hand but we need to be thinking about math edges in PLO not win loss per hand.

I was unsure if i made the correct play pre-flop. I did consider a 4bet but decided to see a flop and re-assess, I think had my hand been double suited I would have put in the 4bet.
I think you are correct though the 4bet line would have been better. Out of interest what bet sizing would you say is optimal for the 4bet? Pot bet or smaller?
