Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T T
Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, CO calls 3 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB
Flop: (9.5 BB, 3 players) T 8 6
BB checks, Hero bets 4.5 BB, fold, BB calls 4.5 BB
Turn: (18.5 BB, 2 players) 7
BB checks, Hero bets 12.5 BB, BB raises to 25 BB, Hero calls 12.5 BB
River: (68.5 BB, 2 players) 7
BB bets 44 BB, Hero raises to 110.5 BB and is all-in, BB calls 63 BB and is all-in

This was shaping up as a pretty dangerous hand. When villain raised the turn I felt I was quite possibly behind to a flush. Straight also possible, but could be beating a weaker set or an over pair.

I know the turn call is slightly behind the odds given I have 6 good outs to make a full house, but I figured this is a reasonable case for implied odds to make it worth the call? I was not inclined to count the outs for the gutshot as I didn't feel this assured me of the best hand.

The turn call is fine you have 10 clean outs with any 6 7 or 8 and a T makes quads so your getting very favorable odds plus the implied odds.I probably check back turn though i think the bets a little thin. And i would bet bigger on the flop on such a coordinated wet board.

In my style, I would have bet a little more at first to push him out of making those. Letting him stay in the hand got you a little more value as it played out. On second thought as I look at that, your bets were pretty decent sized, he just kept calling.

Post turn bets let me think he had it at that point. It would have been a nice trap for him.

Not much else I can say about that. Well played.

If you pay good attention to the flops and level headed you feel like the board might pair itself go for it. I've done it before and got my boat on the river. The guy bet on his straight, told me I "can't see straights" and then I called and told him I was going to bet $50 bucks anyways when I seen the next card. I had pkt 5's w/ 5-8 on the board and that river came an 8.

I think this is the kind of flop you can bet larger at a higher frequency. It's a wet board that hits a CO/BB calling range pretty hard. There are a lot of hands that can call a larger bet and still be behind. You also have every nutted hand and strong draw in your range.

At these stakes, I think it is still most profitable to be unbalanced. But at higher stakes, I think checking top set to protect your checking range is a reasonable option.

I like checking back the turn, but calling his min-raise is no problem. Like metta said, we have some outs and are getting favorable odds. (At this point, i would consider top set a drawing hand. If we don't hit our 6,7,8, or T we are probably toast.)

checking range goes out the window on such a wet board vs a BB range. Yeah, in other spots it is very important to throw in a check, such as playing this vs. UTG, but not here. Even at bigger games like 2000.

Villain turned over Kh6h with the flush.
