Unless you have a sick read, I'm fine shoving with pocket Kings in this spot preflop every time.

In a full ring game getting cold 5bet after 3betting mp, i might be a nit but this isn't a terrible fold with KK imo , the bb isnt going to turn up here with JJ QQ or AK and you still have mp and sb to worry about.

Thank you for your answers! The fact that i got 5bet is what is bugging me, that's where i think i could have played differently, probably fold KK (as it was obvious he has stong holding), but the fact that i wasn't deepstack and the pot was already big enough is why i decided to go all in. What i am hoping to figure out or if you guys can put some light on the matter for me, should i havef olded or just shove?? ( outcome of the hand is not even relevant, basically the whole hand was played preflop ) please shed some light.

Inequitas -- thak you for the hand, very nice hand! And good postflop play as well! What i am curious about regarding your hand, is again the preflop play. Is the +EV move call the shove or fold?

There's no way you would fold KK in the pre-flop the call was correct, unfortunately you found a villain with AA was just bad luck.

Hmmm

How About this Play here...

The only thing I can tell you is NH

I'm super new to online poker but I cant see folding to the cold 5 bet here with only 65 BB. If we were deeper I think it becomes more interesting and we can decide if we can fold or flat in some cases. We already put in 7.5 BB with the second nuts and a chance to triple up. This will often be AA but imagine if it was KK, and we folded. We block KK but it's not impossible that the big stack could cold 5 bet with KK or even AKs here so I don't think I can find a fold sitting on a stack of 57.5 BB with KK here.

Yes, the fact that i was shorter than the orther players was why i shoved. If i had full stack i would have folded. I also have some history with the villain in BB spot and he plays preety solid.

Thank you for your opinions, i will post more hands as soon as i find some spots that i need to clarify.

the cold 5b is super concerning but I find it hard to fold for 65bb and all the dead money already in there. . .

Villain looks like tight reggish player. VS BB Its correct to fold. If
SB (or readless vilain) would 5-beted then I would go all in.

In general I think, its fine to just always get KK in preflop, when you are 100BB deep and even more so, when stacks are shallower. The vast majority of your opponents are not getting away from KK either, so in the long run its just going to be a wash.

However if there ever was a time to find a small edge by folding KK preflop, it has to be a situation like this. A cold 5-bet is crazy strong action, and BB was one of those nitty regulars. He is just never messing around, when he do this, and I would have been shocked, if he did not at least have the other KK.
