Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 35/17/3.5

First question, is posting a hand every 2-3 days asking too much advice? I'm autistic, I'm never sure about the unwritten rules and I don't want to bug people.

Now, I played the following hand. I've reviewed it in Flopzilla and I think I made the right decisions, but I'm guessing there's several things I did wrong, I'm just not sure what.

Winning Poker, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 8 players

UTG: $2.61 (131 bb)
UTG+1: $2.03 (102 bb)
MP: $1.34 (67 bb)
MP+1: $0.80 (40 bb)
CO: $2.20 (110 bb)
BU: $2.94 (147 bb)
SB (Hero): $2.12 (106 bb)
BB: $1.06 (53 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with K A
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.06, 3 players fold, BTN calls $0.06, Hero 3-bets to $0.24, 2 players fold, BTN calls $0.18

Flop: ($0.56) 5 8 A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, BTN calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.36) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.65, BTN calls $0.65

River: ($2.66) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.65 (all-in), Hero calls $0.83 (all-in)

Thanks for any help.

As for your first question, No, not at all! I post usually 1 or 2 a day!

Now, for the hand.

Preflop is fine imo. I could see making it 30 or so, but bttn is probably calling anyways. If these stats are right, he sounds pretty loose.

Flop is fine. I like that sizing ok, we wanna chase off diamonds and the occasional 67 or 79 hand villain decided to see a flop with.

Turn is to small. You make it around 3/4 on the flop, then less than half on the river. That looks suspicious, from villains point of view, that turn either really helped your hand, or devalued it a fair bit.

On the river, i probably just jam here. We have way less than pot, so we get called every time, but imo its better to be the aggressor.

I can't fold this river, simply because we have around 40BB left and we are calling for around a 3rd of the pot. I would be expecting to see him showdown with probably A9s, A8s, AK, AQ with a club or diamond, probably not dealing with sets here. IDK if you are ever winning, but at this point you can't fold if you think he ever has maybe 2 diamonds or a weaker Ace.

I agree. Bigger on the turn. Less than half pot is too small. Go closer to a pot size bet. Jamming the turn is an option too with your stack size since you are pretty much committing your stack with your bet.

Got it. Bet sizing has come up in my first two hand reviews on here. Guess maybe I need to work on that some.

He had 76c for a flush. I lost. ;-(

Thanks for the help! Have a good one.
