I think it’s a good bet. He could be drawing for a flush on either diamond or clubs. It’s best to give him incorrect odds to call you down.

I prefer a flop check, we are 100 BB effective and there's already 27 BB in the pot from the three bet and three way action. In my experience its fairly rare that the BTN will 3 bet then check flop. Even if they do we can bet turn and river just like we did flop and turn and perhaps keep ranges wider and get more value. This also gives us the option to x/r.
