$2 NLHE 6-max: Can we Value bet the river?

I don't know much about villain, but I have noticed he likes to limp call a ton OOP and was folding frequently to flop c-bets so when he does call flop I think he likely has a pair or something.

I think checking behind is fine against regs, specifically against people that can check/raise you with the ace of diamonds. Against this specific opponent betting for thin value is also fine. Either way, I suspect that the EV of checking and betting is very similar so following a read (in this case betting for thin value because villain is over-calling) is the play IMO.

Preflop
Like the isolation raise and your size.

Flop
Like C-betting top pair, but I would go larger. He is a fish, and you dont need to give him such a great price to induce him to come along with all sorts of crap.

Turn
Sure betting again, now you also have an OESD in case you need it.

River
This is a classic bet-fold spot against a fish, and I would go for around half pot again. If he had you beat, you would probably have heard about it, if nothing else in the form of a donk bet on the river, if for instance he backed into diamonds. And he can still pay you with worse one pair hands like AJ, AT, K9, QJ, QT, J9, T9 and so on.
