Hi Guys,

Please tell me what you think of the replay below. I folded on the button with no one behind. After reviewing it, I think I should have raised small and big blinds. Still not 100% sure what the right move is

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ you are button and are wondering if you should raise? But in the hand you posted you are on the cutoff position. Confusing.

I open 2 bet alot IP. Remember, you're in position! 70% of the time your opponent isn't going to hit the flop. You can c-bet and take it down on the flop if he calls preflop. And plus everyone might fold preflop.

Mix it up though. Don't be too predictable. Don't open raise late position everytime with any hand. Have good hands in there. Good connector hands, and also complete rags. Not

Put up the wrong hand my mistake their puzzlefish.

The hand that I meant to put up was what i described, being the button with Jack/8s with nobody behind.

Typically J8s is an open for me on BTN, but its kind of marginal, so its no big deal to fold either. If there were aggressive 3-betters in the blinds, its fine to reduce your steal range a little bit.

Opening j8s on the button is fine, just be careful vs resistance

J8s is definitely in my opening range on BTN. It is sometimes in my CO range. But definitely the bottom/border of it.

It depends also how often I get 3b from the Blinds.
