Hey guys! I played this hand yesterday and would appreciate your opinion on my play here. flop and turn felt like pretty straight forward value bets, flop I imagined I would get called by a lot fewer hands worse than mine then if I were to check/call. Was my decision to check /call here right according to you?

Hahahaha. This is total absurd.

The opponent has more jacks in his range than missed draws!!
River check-fold 100%. Or you can try to play value bet 1/5 or 1/4 of pot, no more. And, ofcourse, always fold vs push. If you played check, you must fold, because you will never see the bluffs here.

This is just one of those spots where you have no way of knowing whether you're good or not. You're either bluff catching a flush draw or you're dead in the water against a set that turned into a boat. Your check on the river pretty much sealed your fate in drawing out the river shove.

Your getting 2.5/1 on a call so you only need to be right 25% of the time.We probably cant shove for value on the river so all our hands is now on the river is a bluff catcher. So it's whether or not we think villain has enough bluffs on that board.

This one is close and I would let go this AA combo as it blocks nut flush draws.
Also on this run out, you have to check river the whole range to protect your calling ranges as well as a default play.

I should add that he bet pretty wide when checked to on the river.

Not even a slightly close call. It's more important to understand why it's not even remotely close though. You're only beat by 88/JJ and Jx is limited to KJ and under since you have an A. You have the Ad, but that's not super relevant here since your opponent is IP and his flush draws will include many smaller draws.
