This has got to be one of the most confusing threads for anyone new to the forum to read.

Ahh ... this is an easy internet call. With a set of Queens and a flush draw on the board, you insta-call. The turn completes the flush, you swear at the computer, and the river pairs the board, giving you the boat and all the cash. This sequence follows strict internet poker protocol.

I disagree. Do you see why?

I can see you looking over top of your reading glasses, Professor Paulsson, but I think you're mixing game theory with chaos theory, whereas I was simply looking at it from the perspective of the Red Queen. Parasites be damned.

Maybe he figured your 3-bet meant AA/KK and he thought he could push you off.

What would you have done if you did have AA/KK? Assume he hit with AQ and still call, I guess.

i don't understand anyone that is telling you to fold... you obviously have the best hand here after the flop , and although i do not know the exact odds or percentages, it is pretty clear to me you are fairly likely to have the best hand by the end as well.

am i wrong?

sure he could make a flush, but one of those hearts would give u a full house, and another one is already in your hand.

no straight possibilities, and any set he has is smaller than yours.

You're analysis is dead wrong.

The answer here is to fold, then request that the hand be dealt out (even though it is online), whereby you will clearly gain an edge on the next hand because the random shuffle will have shifted to your favor with the extra cards being dealt.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU

6 OUTS > 1 OUT

EASY FOLD

You only count outs when you are behind in the hand. If you are ahead (and there is no hand that has you beat on the flop), you don't need outs. If he has two hearts, he has eight outs, giving him only about a 30% chance to win. Easy call on the flop with the nuts. Especially since the betting indicates more than likely that he has some sort of pair rather than 2 hearts, which means you are about 90% to win, or more if he has a smaller set.
