Hello! My hands is kind of strong, My opponents are pretty loose, Id rather not give free cards, so perhaps cbetting here could be a useful option, However, my hand is solid, i don`t like to get check-raised, and there are some sets, and straight that have me beaten, so maybe checking should be preferred. I was wondering whether I should Cbet or check here?

Thank you for posting.

If we check the flop the turn bet size does not work with the check. After checking flop and picking up a flush draw we want to bet at most 50% pot if we bet at all as we can get value from worse with an ok not great hand that could end up being second best on river when any K Q T 9 8 hit if it is not behind already- T9 makes a straight on turn AQ may fear all the straights and V may fear the KT and check or be ready to check raise turn.
So we can check again on turn and equity realize rather than betting.

As played we have to call river.

Betting flop vs two limpers is a high frequency play and with this holding we bet fold. Why? Our redraws are low equity -as making a straight is probably a tie. Our V are passive so 0 bluffs 2 pair check raise would be AQ etc

Hope this helps

I like the above analysis a lot. My PLO play is very weak, but a wise man once told me, if you can't see the winner on the flop its time to fold. 2 pair with a draw a boat and a straight is not very strong. 4 outs to a full house and 8 to the straight, especially against a 3 suit flop with high cards. It is not unlikely someone already has the straight.

I have a 2 to 1 preferance for checking this spot.
The first poster explained it nicely.
