pokerstars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players

(UTG): $10.35 (104 bb) Vpip : 28 PFR : 15 AF : 2 Fold 3B : 25 / Fold to Flop Cbet 20% 3Bet pot
(MP): $12.71 (127 bb)
(CO): $9.25 (93 bb)
(BU): $10.04 (100 bb)
(SB): $9.90 (99 bb)
Hero (BB): $10.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with Q♥ Q♣
(UTG) raises to $0.20, 4 players fold, Hero (BB) 3-bets to $1.20, (UTG) calls $1

Flop: ($2.45) 8♦ 3♠ 8♣ (2 players)

Turn: ($4.85) T♥ (2 players)
siwanat99 (BB) checks, (UTG) checks

River: ($4.85) 2♣ (2 players)
Hero (BB) should I bet ? and what size ?

Most of time I check OTF is it good to check more than bet ? and sometime I bet to balance when I have AK I always c-bet air just need to have OVP in my range with board like this

this guys don't fold to c-bet too much in 3-Bet pot he fold to c-bet 1/5 time
OTF I bet for value with hands like 77 99 TT JJ or even AK sometime they don't want to fold

OTT I check to control the pot

River ? what size should I bet for value

It seems that he has a strong range so there is no reason not to bet on all streets. Especially after his 3bet call. QQ is an excellent hand. You two are deep. I would bet 50% flop, 70% turn and river. You don't need to control pot with QQ on such a board. You only lose to AA, KK if you go all in on the river.

Why check on the turn with QQ?
I just don't bet on the river if I know that the villain bluffs in order to shove the river. In addition, you must bet river. It is very EV.

3bet pre might be a teeny bit large for my taste but I don't mind it since he's not a folding & only opening 2x
bet flop bet turn jam river ez game
He has way little 8x es in comparison to his other holdings & it's not like you are ever folding when he bets turn & jam river when you check to him. So just take the initiative & put more money in the pot with your value hands
With his VPIP I'd disregard 87s & perhaps even 89s & A8s. So he has only 1 combos of 88 that has you beat from the looks of it.

Even if you add most 8x es to his range you still have a lot of equity. And I didn't even add any backdoors.

I'd probably bet 3/4 pot here

be willing to fold if you get jammed on as it should be a boat 90% of the time

Once you check the turn, it's a 100% bet on the river to extract value. A little over half pot would work for me.

As played I am definitely betting the river for value. You only lose to something, which he sandbagged on the turn, and there are certainly worse hands, that can call. You dont exactly have the nuts, so just go for a normal bet like half pot or a little more.

Of course I bet here I just wonder how much can I get max value here size that overpair lower than QQ will call me. and can I go for 3-street (It's All-in) when I'm OOP?

I don’t make the turn check here without good reason. I expect most players to be stubborn but passive with the hands we are trying to get value from here. They will be happy to call but definitely won’t bet themselves. Also sets up a natural jam for value on the river.

As played it maybe it’s not the worst since I think we could get called by a wider range of worse pairs that might have folded to the turn. I bet a little larger like $3 since our hand can look like a whiffed strong ace x making one last stab.

The turn bet I think gets more money from the hands higher up in his stubborn calling range. The turn check gets some optimistic baby pairs to call that might have otherwise folded the turn.

With QQ I think you can bet turn and river for value. For bluff you can triple barrel some AJs,AQ,AK.

I would rather keep some AA combos in the turn check-call range when facing more aggressive.opponents who love to stab when aggressor check back on somewhat brick turn.
