SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J K

fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, fold, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) J K T
Hero checks, BTN bets 3.1 BB, Hero raises to 12.4 BB, BTN calls 9.3 BB

Turn: (31.3 BB, 2 players) 8
Hero bets 22.3 BB, BTN calls 22.3 BB

River: (75.9 BB, 2 players) 3
Hero bets 54.1 BB, BTN calls 54.1 BB,

I raise flop because I figure I can easily be called by worse pairs - primarily Kx but also maybe some Jx. Villain can have sets here though, whereas I can't, so maybe that was wrong? I figured a flush would reraise on the turn, whereas worse hands can still call. Not sure at all about river. Thanks everyone!

While I understand your theory behind raising flop.. I call. The reason I call is because there is no reason to bloat the pot when the board is so wet. IMO. So from here on out this changes how the hand would have been played. So, the way the hand was played leading turn is fine.. I would have gone for 1/4 pot or if you were sure you're getting paid off by a K 1/2 pot for more value. again I understand your theory, however, consider this theory why would villain raise with made flush? he knows he has you constantly leading and raising him... he will flat, to let you keep giving dead money to him. I would have checked. Again same thing on river, no need to bet so much because you are only get called by someone that beats you, I would have check called river. Your hand has plenty of showdown value to check call.

from flop I like to check/call here. Wet board and i'm not happy vs a reraise. Plus I want to have some check/call range on blank turn and river vs bet bet bet. And this is your best combination to do it because you probably 3bet TT, JJ, KK..
Also I don't see any reason with donking the turn. You are both on wide ranges, you are not much afraid about flush draws because you have Ks and playing x/c is ok.
As played check/call river. You don't have much value. Only from KT maybe, but people are so bad and probably he would allin it on flop.
