On the flop hero could raise with some open draw like 45s that paid loose to an MP opening. But on the turn some additional bluffs appear on hero. Possibly flush draws that we blocked, otherwise hero would seek to induce bets from the villain, checking his range. Whereas MP could call with some mean value. So I'm not surprised to see 99 here on V. But I wouldn't expect V to call the river with less value. In fact I think any set will raise any bet of yours.
The question is whether we have the ability to eliminate a bluff catcher on the river. And we have to be aware that the probability of this happening is reduced, when we call preflop. Because our range becomes wider from a blind position.
Greetings.
