Hero ?

villian stats 29-23-2.7 Agg(39%) 148hands
he seems a solid enough player, i didnt get into a pot against him until now.

During the hand he tanked for a while on whether to call the turn bet or not, when he did and the river came the 3 to a flush i wasn't sure what i should do?

River is an easy ship, you've got $10 behind a $15 pot, and you have a set in a 3-bet pot.

39% isn't aggressive enough to induce a bluff, so betting is the more likely way to get value from your hand. If don't want to bet because you're worried about the flush, ask yourself if there's any bet he can make that would induce you to fold.

Because villain is raising pretty wide
Yeah, I always try to raise my widest when I'm UTG too...

As far as 3-betting goes, when you're 200 bb's deep, what & when to 3-bet gets a lot more tricky. So I'm okay with a 3-bet as long as your postflop plan makes sense.

This aint your daddy's full ring game. It's a $10 6-max table, so villain raising 29% at 6-max = pretty wide. Not maniac wide, but, pretty wide. We have no further information on his tendencies at various positions. For all we know the guy is completely positionally unaware.

This is an uber-easy 3-bet preflop.
