Even though we have the Qh?

I like how you played it OP. It keeps the pot small, it allows us to lose the least when he has a boat/flush, it allows him to bluff hands like A high if he's so inclined, and it keeps us in the hunt with our Qh flush draw. I'd like it more if villain was more aggressive, but 60 hands doesn't tell us much so nh.

Basically because B/F is the immortal, stone-cold nuts and C/C allows opponents to play perfectly.

Hogwash. What is villain's perfect play with 77-88, TT-JJ, and lone hearts here? The moment we check he likely assumes we have an underpair or two big cards, thus allowing him to make the exact wrong play.

What I failed to mention before is there is deception in the check which adds value over b/f if our opponent isn't a total passive nit.

I agree with this. Also i know there is not a lot of floaters at 10nl but none the less there is a few and c\c gives us a chance to win with out letting them bluff raise us out of the pot.

No one at 10NL turns 88 into a bluff or bluff-raises you out of the pot when you bet a third heart.

What about the villain who floats the flop to reevaluate the turn. When the 3rd heart hits the check might look ultra weak giving this villain the green light to try to steal the pot.

You should still b/f because you'll get value from his pairs and single H hands (not that he has many of those) that will call the turn but not bet, because everyone at 10 NL calls more than they bet.

I'm not particularly aggressive, and I raise this all day long with TT/JJ with one heart on the turn for value, for a free showdown, etc. You don't have to be floating to raise this turn.

post the hand histories

You should take my reticence on this as a clear indication that I misrepresented myself in the previous post, and not in any way that I have no desire whatsoever to comb through a hundred thousand hands to find a few that would placate some random internet schmuck. Thanks, take care.

well if you do turn 88-JJ w/heart into a bluff all day vs. a tight UTG who double barrels here you should have plenty of examples. just find one. and move up in stakes cuz you could crush NL100
