In my first ever session of 10nl, I was faced with this situation. I was only through about 10 hands on the table, so I didn't have any reads on the villain.

Was this suppose to be a fold?

JJ+prob 3bets pre.You haveing the Ace of diamonds limits him going a little in going crazy with combo draws like A2,A3 of diamonds an so worth. It's less than a pot size(5bet).I don't like this spot i fold.
Edit:Don't know if i like the raise to $2.60 on the flop.On more review why raise to 2.60 if you don't call the shove.I still don't like it though.

You should have *some* reads on the villain even after 10 hands. Does he limp? Is he aggressive/passive? I would just call partly because he's a short stack (that 60BB guy would love that) and partly because it is a drawy board

I ended up calling the shove

Turn: ($16.08) :10d4: :4h4: :5d4: :5h4: (2 players)

River: ($16.08) :10d4: :4h4: :5d4: :5h4: :9h4: (2 players)

Final Pot: $16.08

Showdown:
SB shows :4c4: :10c4:
Hero shows :ac4: :ad4:
Outcome: Hero wins $15.28

So I got lucky, but I never would have put him on 10 4.

I played this pretty bad overall, should have laid it down after he raised again, but I didn't believe he had me beat. I'll learn...

im ok with this. People will probably call your raise lighter because it looks like a steal and will be happy to stack off with TP or pair+FDs etc

Doesn't it being a drawy board mean we should be more likely to get it in?

And yeah there should be a little bit of a read already, nothing spectacular though.

I'd probs play it the same as OP.

I think it's important to note that because of positions, this is a pretty elementary call.

2 things

1. Because you are BTN and he is in SB, someone MIGHT slowplay a huge hand like QQ-KK here (hoping for a squeeze from BB)
2. SB doesn't give you credit for a hand.

Isn't that just what I said?
