Hi, do you consider shoving vs a flop reraise an option here? Villain was 46/2 after 104 hands, his AF was 4 and I've seen him doing that kind of reraises few times before. Do you think that he folds enough of his range so that semibluff can be profitable?

I think if you're going to go with that hand, the flop is the time to get it in. You have as many as 15 outs (assuming they're all clean) to make your hand by the river, which makes you a 54% favourite (best case scenario).

With a VPIP of 46, Villian is limping in with a lot of suited connectors and all broadway and wheel combos and most suited aces since this is 6 max.
Villain is too loose to make a semi-bluff profitable IMO, as I think villain will bet/call if villain has hit the flop or is on a draw.
Against a tighter player, a semi-bluff is more profitable IMO.

I don't think you have fold equity. so you'd just be flipping. if he'd bet bigger on the flop I'd just call but since it's so small I like the raise.
But fish would hardly fold a mid pair on that spot. So I like the way you played it.

his range looks like 6x,4s,overpair, maybe some combo draw

As others have pointed out, his vpip would put a 6 very much in his range, giving you no fold equity for a chunk of hands.

Even if he’s very aggressive, I think his 3bet on flop makes a 6 all the more likely. He has to assume you could have a mid-high pp, with flush draw at the bottom of your range. Unless I see him donking paired boards with crap (and value betting later streets), I’m looking to save my money here.

if you think that the opponent is aggressive, why did you raise flop? Maybe better to play check-call flop and check-raise turn?

fold the flop. you are ahead of pocket pairs in a dry flop board. you should consider his bluff/call frequency for semi bluff.

Id just call there is some added value of letting people call behind , you dont really want to blow all worse draws and hands out.
