Blind wars are often **** measuring contest. Hero's A8 is in the upper half of the range for a raise and c-bet, but can be easily dominated. Villain's calls and turn bet don't define his hand and have a high percentage of bluffs. Of course its the same on the river.

It would be nice to have a little history here, but I call and likely re-buy.

do you bet every Ax here? do you ever check/call here with TP? imo it's a good spot to check/call from flop You have only 2 streets of value. Probably I would valuebet from ATo and rest of Ax go to x/c, x/c, x/decide mode. Your villain misses a lot on this board. Especially when you block of course Ax and hands like 78, 89. You are not afraid generally any turn card and I would like to give a chance to make a mistake by our villain and let him bet with cards which would fold vs our cbet.
