SB: $26.45 (265 bb)
BB (Hero): $21.33 (213 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with 9 9
SB raises to $0.30, Hero calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.60) 2 9 J (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $0.48, Hero raises to $1.79, SB calls $1.31

Turn: ($4.18) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.98, SB calls $2.98

River: ($10.14) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $16.26 (all-in), SB calls $16.26

Would anyone have played this any different? I'm mainly just curious about preflop and on the river but any other info is welcomed too!

Thank U 4 Posting

The 99 can be played either way depending on Villain tendencies but heads up dealt a pair we would want to be raising very often. The stacks are deep so raising to build the pot preflop will help to get stacks in more often when we hit as well as getting more value from a wider range of hands preflop and on flop.

The river bet size is determined by the range we are trying to get value from. All the draws missed so we are getting no value from them on river so the question is can this V fold over pairs or top top to a jam? If no than the shove is fine.

Hope this helps

I think that vs most players, 99 heads up is a 3 bet (and often 5 bet jam).

As played, I like your play on every street.

The overbet on the river is great for value, and you need to balance that with the right proportion of overbet bluffs as well.

Hello,

P: standard 3bet. I wouldn't auto-stack off preflop +200bb deep, it is read dependent this deep.
F: as played, fine.
T: fine, I would pot it.
R: fine, the only sizing that makes sense is jamming.
