Hey what's up!

I've been playing around 1000 hand everyday for a week now and I'm up 60$ playing this 1 cent 2 cent game. I currently have 57 buy-ins. How much buy-ins should a poker player have in cash game? My goal is to reach that 1$ 2$ game.

No part of me believes you are up $60 after 7000 hands of 2NL.

But to answer your question, I think you can move up with as few as 20 buy-ins of the new limits. But be prepared to move back down if you lose 4-5 buy-ins.

20 buyins and move up, drop to 12 and move down is what I would do. BUT I am still playing 2NL haha

If you want to play safe 80minimum to 100 buy ins is perfect but i mean if you want to ladder as fast i would recommend you trying to take shots to upper buy ins if you lose it you can go back to 1/2cent if you win you play till you want and if you have 500$ you can remain in 5NL and take another shots in 10NL, but have care that you dont tilt and lose all! :D

There is no magna Carta for poker. Avoid going bankrupt if you get unlucky for awhile but if you are beating zoom like this then believe in your ability and continue on.
