FWIW.....
I would be careful of homegames dude.... like I wouldn't even play in them. I would only play in them if I knew the players and host very very well, and I knew it was on the up and up.
They have multiple ways of cheating. They have these cards on the internet that you can use the included sunglasses with the kit, and see card ranks on the backs of the cards, that are invisible to the naked eye. They also have this stuff called "daub" where it's like this chalky stuff cheaters will wipe on the cards, to mark them. You can look at the cards with an unfocused eye (think like a thousand yard stare) and see the daub.
Furthermore, there are dealers who are capable of stacking the deck, and so on, and so on.
Whenever money is at stake, cheating is possible.
Find a casino dude. Play there. I have actually played at a home game years ago, and I'm fairly certain there was cheating going on. The host made some sick hero call with like K-5 high, and he had no business even being in the pot. It wasn't a good call. No one is that good. The guy was atrocious at poker, and seemed to be always right. 99% there was shady shit going on there. The host pretty much played every hand, and he made hero calls all night, like really really really bad calls that don't make sense. He would have been floating people multiple times with no pair no draw, and calling huge flop+turn bets, and the calling river bet with nothing. This happened a few times on the day I saw the hero with K5o.
After that hero call with the K-5 high, I grew tired, and had to go home. Never played another hand there after that. I heard later of other people who went to this particular game and many were suspicious as well. It didn't last for long though.
I've heard many tales of home games being unsafe and cheating happening.
