What will change live Pub Poker Leagues due to the pandemic?

For the past 3 months, I and many other poker players who enjoy live Pub Poker Leagues have not been able to play due to the Covid-19 lockdowns. Of course, since the lockdown has begun we have been playing much more online poker, but would love to get back to the live poker.

Will Pub Poker League tournaments be a thing of the past or will lockdown and social distancing restrictions be lifted where we can get back to what used to be normal play?

What kind of changes do you see happening to live league play? And how long do you think it could take to get back to live league play? What are your thoughts?

Have a great day and most of all stay safe!

I'm sure there will some permanent changes even with smaller tournaments - disinfecting will be a huge hurdle as well as the number of players at a table, etc. We will survive this pandemic but it sure doesn't hurt to have some new social guidelines in place before the next virus hits.

As far as how long it might take to get back to what we knew as normal, that's anyone's guess. It could be a year or more? Who knows?! Don't plan on anything getting back to normal anytime real soon, though...just my 2 cents.

Man I really miss my nightly NL holdem tourneys at the local casino. Going to be hard if impossible to ensure everybody's safety from here on out. Sad but very true...
