Hello. I don't get the opportunity to play live poker that often and I'm heading to Las Vegas in April for a work/vacation trip. I will be staying off the strip in in a hotel in Summerlin (not a casino). This means I will have to cab/Uber it to my playing destination(s) at night. I'd be interested in recommendations for places to play small stakes poker tournaments. For example, when I was in Reno a year or two ago, I really enjoyed playing the $20 buy-in tournaments that never seemed to have more than thirty players or so in them, and often only around fifteen to twenty players. The stakes are more important to me than the number of players, though. It would be fine if there were a lot of players but the stakes were still fairly low. I don't really want to spend more than $50 for a tournament entry fee because they often have a chip-up option midway through, which means you have to plan on effectively doubling the entry fee if you want to remain competitive. I think $20-$35 would be the sweet spot for me. BTW I don't want to play cash games, only tournaments(MTTS)/SNGs. MTTs would be my first choice. Thank you.
