Self dealt poker tournament

Greetings!
So recently me and some friends enrolled on a 30€ buy in poker tournament at a grand casino in our city.
This was our first online true poker experience and we were terrified to find out players had to make the cards and put antes and everything without supervised help..
Some of the guys were so clumsy that made my hand A-K to be canceled bcs they didn't deal the floop correctly. What are your thoughts on self deal poker in a tournament?

Can't imagine playing a self-dealt tournament at a casino, that's why they hire dealers and take rake.

Played plenty of club & home tournaments where it's self-dealt. Just gotta have patience with the less skillful ones when they shuffle & deal. Yeah more mistakes happen but it is what it is.

That’s usually a home game, if it’s with strangers, insist always on a cut!
