I personally always tried to play in tournaments that have good players
to learn from them

To play against beginners you have to adapt your thinking to how they play and think about the game. But yes in the long run if you don't challenge yourself you won't get better.

No good player would complain about playing against a beginner live- in this game we look to capitalize on mistakes and when we are beginners, we make alot of mistakes.

It is more difficult to play with beginners, their psychology can not be understood.
