Most poker players have a dream to attend the world series in Las Vegas. How achievable is it? What do you need to travel to the "city of sins"? How much will this trip cost?

Probably, it all depends on where you are. The price of a plane ticket or a liner may vary depending on the distance and class. It also depends on what lifestyle you lead. Hotel prices are also different. In addition, sometimes people can eat fast food and that's enough for them, and sometimes people prefer caviar and champagne.

Check flights first - that is easy to determine. Then decide how long you would want to stay. Your hotel costs will depend on your budget and length of stay. You can probably stay for anywhere from $40-50 a night up as high as you want to spend. The Rio jacks their prices up this time of year but there are cheaper rates near it.

If you stay at or near the Rio you won't need to worry about transportation - if you stay somewhere else then you have to factor that in.

Food budget will depend on if you stay somewhere with a kitchen or not. With no kitchen depending on your eating habits you would need at least $25 a day for food - that is not eating much.
