I wonder how does it feel when jump from Online Poker to a Live poker game for the first

time after years playing online. Did anybody feel something special, good or bad to describe?

I actually never played live until a few months ago at my local casino. It was a cash game and perhaps it also had to do with the fact that I'm better at tourneys but I was a nervous wreck.
Playing live is definitely way different from playing online where you don't have to necessarily worry too much about your composure, body language, etc.
I don't have any desire to play live anytime soon again lol.

Is a change of scenery and the atmosphere is cool, It felt a lot more solid then online but i still saw some bad beats and set over sets.. Being able to see the players and how they act when it's their turn is fun ... being able to examine their play and figure out what they are up to made for an enjoyable experience.

Many players at the first and not only the first, a game alive begin to be nervous much more than playing online. It is natural since they should play in a situation, "unnatural" for themselves. Plus, an important factor what if the player plays online, then it can take off, for example, from a tournament and right there begin to play following, not especially thinking of loss. And playing offline the player spent a lot of time just to reach to poker club and if a game is a large tournament in other country the satellite won through online, then the factor of time begins to play especially large role.

Thought that playing home games with friends would have prepared me for my first live game. Oh i was so wrong, I was a nervous wreck. All that practicing of shuffling the chips and keeping a straight face didn't go so well. Eventually got better after a few visits and actually became enjoyable.

Thank you!:)

I find it another game play.. a turbo live is not fast as online, there's no clock (except if called) stressing you to take a decision, bigger starting stack, different raise standards..

The best is the interaction between the players at the table... once you know that, playing online is hard!!

Hello,
So, start with home games stands for a good protocol, prior to the club.
Very good sense!
Thanks much!:)

It's pretty good to know about it. This is the thing: give room to the dedicated and skilled players. Nice nice indeed!:pcguru:
Thank you!:)

Well yes and no.. It's sure that there're more dedicated player in the rooms, but a visit during the week-ends will show you that sometimes there're more occasionals then regulars or pros.

Yep Yep!
I see this is still good, comparing to the number of lady luck hunters at the virtual environment.

The Difference is , Youll Run in to a bunch of actually players "most nights" to where if you raise you may get 1 or 2 callers , not 6 because everybodys suited. People are more likely to fold easier and To me I get more value out of playing live because the hands seem to run out way different than Online. Online you get a ton of 4 card straights or 4 card flushes but never that often at live tables. Your Premium holdings have higher value. This is all my opinion I haven't played Higher stakes online outside of 1/2. Just Things ive noticed between live and online

Good,
So it seems to me that the shuffle online - RNG differs quite a few from the live dealer's. Despite of the integrity of both.
It's not the first was told about that.
Thanks much! :)
