How much buy in do you play in live poker?

I only play low values because I don't have much money to invest

All depends on what is allowed. My local casino, Tioga Downs, mostly runs $200NLH Match Stacks so the limits are initially $300 max buy-in but once the game has been going, you may buy-in for whatever the largest stack is. I plan to have at least $1500 with me when I go play and I have bought in for that $1500 a couple of times.

Many casino poker rooms have a fixed maximum. The traditional max is 100 times the BB, so it would be $200 in a $1-2 game. Always sit down with the max, or you will be targeted by larger stacks who can afford to play marginal hands in an effort to bully small stacks.

I sit down with a minimum of 100 BB

1/2$ NLH is a pretty standard format at casinos. Max buy in is $200 and I wouldn’t bring less

I play only tournaments.. I hate cash games..

I play like 100 dolars buy in tournaments, or satellites to that 100 buy in..

I dont like investing a lot of money

Why do you hate cash games? Did you have a bad experience?

Live poker I normally like to sit down with 200 just incase I get dealt a cooler less many to invest if having a really bad run day

Max buy in plus bring enough to buy in again if I can. I usually need to top off early in my session even if I have a winning session.

Usually 50-70 BBs for 1/2 and about the same for 2/5 because I'm taking shots and I like to start off playing a simpler short stack game as I learn what the table is up to but I'd likely always buy in for max if I was sufficiently rolled.

I usually play only 1-2 tables and wont buy in for more than 100 to start. I like to see how the other players are playing first. I don't wanna sit down with 500 and get taken to school the hard way. If I fell good after sitting for a hour or 2 I will buy in for more, but likely I am ahead at that point and don't have to buy any more chips

I mostly play micro tournaments and from time to time middle ticket tournaments the most I spent were 11 for a sundaymillon anniversary tournament

Now there is no money to pay for big tournaments. But before playing a maximum of 100 dollars per entry.

I'm like you, but what do you mean low values???
For one man 1$ is low for another 100$ is low)))

so I mostly play in micro limits tournament and try to win tickets to some events through freerolls.

depends, but i played the 109 on pokerstars, 55 and so on, and also played 0.02 lol

Usually buy in min because I am concentrating on a short and midstacked strategy.

100 BB buyin per stake. $200 for 1/2. $500 for 2/5.
