Just wanted to take a minute and say I found a underground card house. It was really sketchy with an obvious element of people I'm not normally around. A Facebook buddy told me about it so I had to try it out. It had a minimum 100 dollar buy in 5/10 NL. Twenty dollar door charge. Place was full of tables with allot of people. I was surprised.
I had a great night. It was refreshing not getting sucked out all the time. Didn't see no quads. Straight flushes, no full boat on full boat. Did see one set on set but it wasn't me. My AA got cracked once or i I woulof left with more. In four hours I had won about 1200 dollars. Every time I said I was leaving they would give me grief and make me very uncomfortable. Finally I got the notion to leave and I felt very uneasy. But left with some other guys. Come to find out that a few people had been robbed leaving the pub before but not that night. Don't think I'll return even tho I had a blast.
I know you can't compare live play with online but I sure miss live. Don't remember people chasing straights and flushes so much in live games. So just like online people are chasing way too much. But they didn't hit but a couple of times. Was nice not seeing the turn and river suck you out almost every time. Let's play poker:ciao::stickyman:stickyman:stickyman

Online

Funny how I realize playing some tourneys everything is back to normal. Suck outs galore. Does a poker tracker keep track of stats like that. I wasnt going to buy one but if it would give me definitive proof that the amount of suck outs is abnormally high.

I am finding it hard to believe online RNG is anything like random live poker. I don't think anyone can really predict what cards are coming but I do see allot of suck outs. I've given what I believe is the cause due to the fact of constant shuffle. I can't put my faith that all people I encounter are luckier than I. All the time. It's cards not Russian roulette. :ciao:

I think that if I played in a live casino for cash, I would also really like to play live, but I do not have such an opportunity to play in a live casino and I only have to play online poker, I wish you good luck in your game!

I wish I had other online sites to play poker at like poker stars or party poker or 888. Inter tops is ok they don't have to too many free rolls. ACR is just a nightmare for me. There on demand free rolls is a bingo fest. You get 500 people playing crazy for a 2 dollar and some change prize. It's like a waste of three hours just to make a great raise to get sucked out on. Let's play poker:ciao:

I wish I could say I share your enthusiasm for Live game being superior. I rather enjoy the fish online chasing 25% odds and giving me 75% on my money!

Say I offered you 1.5$ everytime I flipped a coin and it was heads but you give me 1$ everytime it is flipped tails. Would you not love those odds?!

Just because sometimes the coin lands tails doesn't mean you should hate the goofballs chasing turns and rivers. In fact you should love them!

That's what I have been saying this whole time. It has made me allot of money over the years live games. I just wrote a thread talking about that. What I'm seeing is this. My chart will say I was dealt a 110 hands. I played in 30 of those hands. 10 of those hands went to showdown. Of those I lost six times. Five of those six where suck outs. 5/6 suck outs with three of them being runner runner. Now if this happen once you chalk it up to bad luck. If it is consistent like it has been then I'm the unluckiest guy in the world or something is up. It could be the site. I run much worse at ACR. Numbers don't lie. Sad thing is I love the game. I'm not mad, not tilting just trying to comprehend. Let's play poker:confused:

If your seeing 30% of your hands do you ever wonder if your seeing too many? That number seems really really high to me. And to have 33% of those hands go to river are you playing too passively? Just offering some constructive criticism.

I'm a big guy of 6,5' weight 380 lbs. Been in the service and worked as a correctional officer. This place had hood written all over it. After going there is when I found out that allot of robberies happen as you leave which I'm not surprised. My group was good size so that may of been a deterrent. They didn't want to let the group in at first. Doubt I return. Allot of junkies and element that I wasn't comfortable with.

I'm pretty aggressive. You can't wait for perfect cards in a tourney. Sometimes is it's non what cards you have but what they think you have. More aggressive after flop. Why call if you can raise. The term suck out means you got your money in good then lost. So that would be someone putting all there chips in to see if they can get that straight or flush set on the last two streets. I avoid most situations with possible straight and flush because there way to too many outs. Once your all in your going to show down.
If you don't think that 5/6 of my showdown loss isn't high for suck outs your insane. 1/4 would be the norm. One tourney is bad luck but if it's consistent then there is a problem. Let's play poker:joyman:

I don't think you quite understand what I was saying. The reason for your variance is because you are seeing far too many hands and your villains are taking you to the river because they do not respect your hands. When this is happening you need to tighten up.
