Do you play better Online or Live Poker?

Live poker for sure. online poker doesn't seem real to me. I don't know why.

Online is better than live. Because I can organise my time & can abuse.

Live Poker

I for sure would say I play a better game live as one can have the advantage of reading opponents. Also sometimes playing online I get tired of all the "bingo" players even playing in money games. Not for many "bingo" players playing live.

I am more used to play online, if I play offline then its only with friends and I dont think that much about my plays.

I've always done well playing live, so much so that I've never been invited back to a home game. Because of that I've played much more online poker than live. Still, playing live just feels easier to me. I don't consider myself to be a body language expert or anything like that. But I feel like pick something up in live games. I don't know what it is, but the longer the game goes on, the better I do in it.

I think I do better at live poker. I seem to take more risks when playing online. That may be due to the lower stakes available online. It's also a 45 min drive to the casino. That's a long time to kick yourself on the way home for being a donkey.

I love playing live but prefer online better. Mostly because it what I can afford to play. That being said, I have been successful both live and online. I do wish I could afford to play more live.

I prefer live play for a few reasons. I enjoy the social banter, but can't type fast enough to chat while playing online. Secondly, because players have to face their opponents, they are less likely to make totally stupid plays...some of which luck out. Thirdly, and most important, if I am playing live, I am somewhere on vacation, so I am more mellow, and play to enjoy the game; not worrying about the money.

I think just the pace of live gives you so much more time to analyze things.
