If its going to be ahome game, deffinetly put in cup holes. Otherwise your guests are going to ruin your felt with spilled drinks. Good luck and have a good and productive time.

Hi.
I like everything green. That is why I prefer tables with green cloth. But in general, the color of the table, its shape, or other features do not affect my skills and luck, so for me it is not important.
Good luck.

I’d do 10 seats: one dealer and nine players. That way it can also fit 10 players with a rotating dealer, and the table could be symmetrical. Definitely cup holders, and deep ones, too. LEDs are personal preference: personally I try to keep my rooms minimalist and naturalist, so no LEDs on my table.

Have you checked out buildyourownpokertables.com?

http://www.buildyourownpokertables.com/

-The size and shape you choose depends on the space available.
-Racetracks are harder to build than no racetrack, and most serious players hate racetracks anyway.
-LEDs are more difficult to add as well
-Cup holders can be built-in (more difficult) or added as "slide in" style.
-Cloth design can be anything, including completely custom.

10 players for sure but if you don't have the room then 8 or even 6 is better than nothing.

Cup holders are nice, but they MUST be deep. Shallow ones do not prevent bottles from getting knocked over.

I would pass on the LED's, if it were me. They are a little obnoxious and can make it difficult to tell what color the chips are especially if you use like blue LED's or some other color.
Have fun building and then don't forget to invite all the cardschatters over for a game.

Good luck and God Bless.

Sourcing materials can be pretty expensive. The guys I know that build tables are in the US and canada and get most of their speedcloth for tables and rail vinyl from Your Auto Trim.
https://www.yourautotrim.com/capraucl.html

Shipping to brazil may make their prices less than ideal for you, but at least you can get an idea of how much quality materials can cost. Don't cheap out on speedcloth. It is the most visible and heavily used part of the table, and difficult to change. Table makers stay away from Chinese manufactured cloth, and use US made. The price difference is considered well worth it.

I think a poker table in the right room of the house can look really elegant, but I don't think I'd get enough people to play every night to get the table to "pay for itself." I can see why a professional poker player may want one (for high stakes matches hosted, small homegames or for decor of the room), but I think the average poker player doesn't even consider getting a poker table when casinos are always an available option.

I think if you're planning to setup the table and leaving it up opposed to setting it up and breaking it down every time you play. Then I think the choices you make will depend mainly on the room it's going in. The colors and fabrics I would want to match the decor that's already in the room and I would build it to a size appropriate for that space. If I going to start with the table and kind of build and design the rest of the room around it. My personal preference would a six handed table that is a little oversized so everyone doesn't feel like they are sitting on top of one another. I would say that cup holders are a must. I would also include a little shelf or compartment where players can put their phones or wallet if they so chose to. If your handy with electrical and your able to get power to the table I would definitely I would definitely put an outlet with built-in USB ports at each sit location. This way players can charge their phones without constantly get up and down to go check it. I think accent lighting adds a nice touch. I would stay away from white lights or any bright colors as they wear on the eyes after a little while. I would probably go with a deep blue or possibly purple. Instead of lightning the top of the table I think I would favor to use the lights under the table strictly as an accent. I should try and stay away from using led lights as the main lighting source. They're not very good for your eyes. I know nothing about fabrics but I would suggest something of high quality that cleans up easy and is durable. If you smoke I would definitely get a fabric that is resistànt to burning. If your going to be putting all the time and effort into this that would be needed I think what I would do is once a pick the fabric for the table top I would then take it to a printer or embroider and have a custom design put into it. Something that when people see it they know right away that this isn't just any poker table it's your poker table. With all that said I would definitely spend the most time, effort and money one on legs and frame of the table. Over time you can always replace fabric or change lighting but the table its self your probably going to want to keep in tack. Use high quality woods. Add detailing wherever you can. Most of all enjoy the process of building it. I wish I could help it sounds like I really cool project to undertake. Good luck man! And if you do end up doing it please don't forget to post pictures not only of the finished project but post pictures all along the way so we can see this thing as it comes to life. Right now you have me so enthused that I just may build one and post pics along with you

Cup Holder

These will save you a lot of work, and possibly a lot of money*:

*If you make a mistake while cutting your rail fabric, the costs could be very high.

At our club where we play home games we have foldable type which is put on top of normal table. It is very similar to this:

https://www.amazon.com/Trademark-Po..._r=9R59NAFB7K10MDT4NSPX&qid=1594742532&sr=8-7

It is not too good but much cheaper than big poker table. One day if i have big enough room i may get full scale poker table. Good luck with your project. It would be interesting to see some pictures when ready. One advice - cup holders are very convenient for home games and will save you some efforts to clean the table as it becomes much more difficult somebody to spill something on it.

Hi
One of my dreams is to have a poker table and another pool table. My favorite color is blue, more for poker tables, preferring green or black cloths, and ten places to have more gameplay.

I always dreamed of having one, but long before I started playing poker I was a lover of billiards and ping pong, which ended up buying the tables of the respective games and sadly I no longer have room in my house for a poker table
