Best states to find worst players

I'd like to start traveling around the country and play at different casinos and race tracks/poker rooms. I've learned that typically, better players play at casinos, and less skilled players play at card rooms (obviously not everyone who plays at card rooms are bad).

I wanted to get some opinions on which states tend to have bad players. I've heard Florida is a great place to find bad players because there's a bunch of old guys who just play for fun. I played in Panama City, and made $200.

I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being someone who has no clue how to play, and 10 being Daniel Negranu, I'm a strong 5 or 6. Where would be the best places to go to find a bunch of 3 to 4s and not too many 7 or 8s. Definitely no 10s.

Vegas, lots of drunk tourists.

Without a doubt, this is an interesting idea. But be careful at the casino. Once I lost so much that I then had a depression for two weeks.

this might have worked 10 or so years ago. now almost everyone is at least decent it seems like.

You will never get any accurate data to this question. Instead of looking for bad players in particular states that can change on any given day, how about trying to bring that self imposed rating from a 5-6 up to a 7-8. That is something you have control of.
