If anyone has heard how things are going, I would love to know. With respect to rake, they usually reduce the rake with less than 6 players.
I am also curious how many players are wearing masks, and using hand sanitizers at the table.

I was in Vegas June 11-15 right after some of the casinos opened. Stayed at Sam's Town on Boulder Hwy. Disappointed that the poker room was still closed, but the traffic is still pretty slow. Wouldn't really be much action, I think. I like playing the tourneys and I believe it may be a while until they return.

Drove down the Strip a few times ... not much happening there either. Valet parking is still closed and didn't go in since self-park is too far of a walk for me with my COPD. Street traffic is very light, but makes getting into good restaurants easy. Social distance seating was practiced. All buffets are still closed, but good food joints are my preference anyway.

BJ tables were pretty sparse too with the staggered seating. Craps tables were quiet. It's going to take a while.

Didn't see any 'protest' activity, but heard there was a few groups hanging around Paradise Road. Didn't go there.

They were doing temperature scans on entering and masks were optional for guests, mandatory for staff. No housekeeping in the rooms unless specifically requested. We're going back mid-August, but may need masks inside too. NV Governor just mandated masks for ALL.

Brad Owens and Jeff Boski have both posted videos of cash games since some rooms have reopened, you can check them out here if you want to see what the precautions at each table look like:

How exciting. I'm glad that the casinos make people wear masks. It was also fun watching these videos.

It was interesting seeing those two videos that were posted of the live poker in the casino.. for me with all my health issues, I got one of the worst flu pneumonia that I ever had four years ago in the winter in casino... so I still think it could be very risky for people to just play inside the casino right now especially if they have outstanding health issues better to continue to wait I think... seeing the plexiglass between the players was very interesting though but I guess you'd have to be very careful with your hands, cuz you still have to touch all the same cards and ships as everybody else...JUst play online for now i think :):)

All good news! Casinos here in Nova Scotia just opened recently (machines in bars have been running since June) but Im not sure if the poker room is open.
