Summer ACCOUNT HACK WAVE coming?

very sadly..In this week, my 2 friends lost their pokerstars-bankroll by chinese account hacking.
Both were illegally accessed by NanKing(chinese).

Problem is simply.
they recycled same password on many poker-room.
Be careful all.

Having different password for every site is very difficult but sharing the same one for both important sites (like pokerstars) and ones which are not very important is very big mistake. I personally have several passwords for the different categories of sites that i visit which is good balance between security and convenience.

Wow yes I agree especially what you just said about the hack. If worse comes to worse write down your passwords and store somewhere ( off computer obv lol ) for being even more safe..

I did not put the same passwords in different poker rooms. And I do not store passwords somewhere in the computer. For this there is a notebook.

Just a tip on PWs. A really good strong PW should consist of at least 15 letters/characters, at least 2 should be Uppercase Letters, at least 2 lowercase letters, at least 2 numbers, and at least 2 special characters (ie: !@#$%^&*). If this is done hacking will be way harder for them to crack the PW.
