How do you prevent people from seeing what you have?

Anyone had any experience streaming their games?

Peace,
G

Most streamers use a significant (5 min) stream delay so their viewers can "see" their cards per se, but what they were 5 minutes ago. Other streamers put some weird graphic over their cards and stream real-time. Don't do that if you want viewers imo

there is a delay in almost every stream to prevent people from seeing the cards at the moment.

Delay is good because then you don't show your cards. There is one Finnish streamer who shows the tables in 3min delay but is chatting without delay. It's hard to play because he can't comment the hand or bad beat straight away. He has to wait the 3min that the hand is on the stream and then he comment that. That's fun and more social aspect

Obviously, poker streamers set up a delay of 3-5 minutes.

The ones I have started watching mostly use a 3-5 minute delay, others simply have thier video right over thier cards so nobody can see them.

You don't really see their hands in real time or they use some sort of cover. The delay is confusing because you think they are playing at the time, but really they are not.
