All different types in poker, cyber bullying is hardly a real issue outside of some temporary butt hurt unless you are in high school. I'd say grow some thicker skin, especially in online poker, like come on man! I hope you don't go FULL CAPS OFFENDED irl.

doesn't bother me. I will fire right back at and burn them. They eventually shut up...due to the fact that it is their decisions as well help lead to the outcome of the hand ..lol .. let them make a fool of themselves

You can easily mute them in most sites. but do not listen to them when they try to intimidate you. just Ignore and keep playing your game.

Instead of taking it personal just pull up some hellmuth montage to make yourself feel better getting to see how he shows out so you can get a good laugh and go on with it :p

At the beginning on i was just ignoring them. Meanwhile i'm warning that if they keep doing their inadmissible behaviour they could be reported and muted in the future. Actually me personally don't have the nuts to send an e-mail to the support with a screenshot, although i can do it in no time. Even if that person did insulted me in a hard way without a reason. But all the time i talk me out of it, saying to myself, maybe they just overreacting and it's not the case to make this to a big deal. But i think it worth enough to warn them, that they are doing wrong. Some other players could just send screenshot without warnings and then after some days come a big surprise "OOPS WTF i CAN'T WRITE IN A CHAT ANYMORE!!"
So that such things does not happen we are all supposed to warn people if they go over the line at the some point, instead of silently report them. Much of peace and love to all of you, let's bring some education at the poker world and not just punishment.

You can easily block them in the chat or even stop the whole chat if it is too annoying to you. No need to allow their insults to influence your play. Regarding the option to report them to support - i would not bother to do that unless i see the same person doing it over and over in different situations.

I just have to laugh at all these snowflakes crying, because their delicate feelings were hurt because someone online said something mean to them.
Instead of whining, why not focus on playing your game and ignore the noise from other players which like others have mentioned can easily be dealt with by clicking on ignore on the player profile.

I wouldn't take it personal after all they are hurling abuse at an avatar.I think people need to toughen up in general everyone is to easily offended these days.Just get used to people tilting in this game and take it with a pinch of salt. And as others have said you can mute players if you wish or you can move tables. It not something that should affect you.

I'm not sure what are you up to say with "snowflakes crying" actually. It's all about not crying how our feelings been hurt, but about that such rude behavior at the online table shall be punished, as it would be punished in a real life poker game. Or you want me to say, if i would start insulting you somewhere in Vegas Casino at the table and you would complain to the Casino Manager about me, he would just say: "Bah.. stop whining, you crybaby! Just ignore that guy!" I don't think so. There are house rules and etiquette. And anyone who breaks it shall be punished. It's not acceptable. And the problem of your indifferent approach is that you will click ignore that guy, but the very same guy will poison the game of hundred further players with his rude comments and insults and if everyone will be just like you ignoring him. He will do it again and again and feel himself untouchable and feel the lawlessness. It's not alright. And better give him a lesson by writing short e-mail to support with a screenshot of the chat. So that ends right there. Either he will learn a lesson after being muted for few weeks or not and then he will be muted forever. We must clean the room from c0ckroaches to make our games more pleasant.

friend, I've already written about this and I've come to the conclusion that the best way to respond to this type of player is to IGNORE.

I also hate it when people at the table are very rude and insulting, I usually just disable their chat. That's one thing I like about CC tournaments, most CC people are very nice and civil (with very few exceptions) compared to non-CC tournaments. I would just like to add one more thing, I think the reason I dislike vulgarity and abuse when I play poker online is that I am almost certain that the abuser would be totally silent if we were playing live instead of online; they are what I call "telephone tough guys", people that have very big mouths when they know they can get away with it but would not utter a peep if you were standing right in front of them, in other words, cowards.

Definitely need to grow some thicker skin. If you're playing, someone offends you in game and you're thinking "OMG this so not right. Someone should do something about this rude person!" then chances are you're going to play-out your offended feelings in your cards and make rash decisions and lose money.

Hi.
Welcome to our community.
Personally, I never pay attention to conversations during the game.
I always try to keep maximum concentration.
Good luck.

Instead of having your delicate feels hurt, would it not be so much more productive in focusing on your game plan and put the donk on chat block.
Wasting your energies on these undesired rants only takes your focus away from your own game, ……. “ Now How Intelligent is That?”

Well you're right about the focus indeed. The game is most important overall. But still before i put that person in ignore or close chat it's still not bad to take a screenshot to send it after the session to support. Just to give a lesson to that person, who is bothering everyone. So that maybe he will be forced to stop that activity. It doesn't take too much efforts or time really. But makes the poker world a little bit better.

On the flip side though i don't want people that are prone to tilt chat banned.I want to be able to see that tell in the chat box and the extent of their rants will let me know just how tilted they are.
