Are the chances of winning better playing poker at a casino? Do people really win online? Is it the same odds?

Just depends on what you're playing and who you're playing with. If you're just playing super micros all day every day you're likely hood of gaining more is very slim compared to playing basic stakes at a casino. If you're jumping into freerolls to get into bigger tourneys online you have a chance of outgaining more from casinos. It all Just Depends. You can win a lot either way , For me it's easier to play online because I can literally play ANYWHERE and don't have to wait for a table to open and don't have to stop doing other things in my day.

It all depends on how well you play poker and understanding of the game, as well as a very important role in live poker plays psychology, which is not exactly understood by everyone.

I do not believe the games in which nothing depends on you. Therefore, I prefer poker. In poker, you yourself can control the course of the game.

I don't see much of a difference personally. I don't find live poker to be overly different from online. Main difference is person to person contact. You can't see the player, read the player, have players reading you, etc. Online also offers you an advantage if you play with software...though the higher stakes you go, the more players will have software.

online poker is much more profitable to play than casino and offline poker, when you play a lot of tables it greatly increases the chances at home at the computer to play more comfortable

I totally agree with you. I do not like to play games like slots, where only one thing depends on the player - the amount of deposited money .

Start small and play low limits . Try to just play solid ABC poker at first. Online poker is constantly changing. Game selection and bankroll managment are more important then you would think.

Absolutely. Spot on analysis. When I started reading poker books my game improved year by year playing low buy-in MTTs. Bankroll management has been the most important key to my success.

I think it is the same odds. It all comes down to bankroll management. Are you more comfortable with cash or a computer?

Yes, you can win online, but it's different then going at the casino or at a poker room..

There're some streaming on twitch and they are not all "recognized" pros... but they do!

Bounty mtts looks like a good way.. often, you freeroll before the bubble!

Biggest advantage of online poker is the opportunity it presents to gain experience quicker, by being able to play many more hands in a given amount of time than live. Of course, it also requires you to pay attention, as just the volume of hands isn't enough.

I can’t talk about casinos, since I have never won there and never played. But I think it's easier to win online than in a casino, the game is a little more difficult there.

The odds are the same wherever you play. The level of the opposition is what varies. I find it much easier to win in live play vs online. good luck out there

online, live, what matters. it is important to win ... at a casino there is more adrenaline, you have the opponent in front of you, see the mimic, the gestures, the nervous tics, but so does he. Yes! You win at the casino if you have a psychology over your opponent.

If in poker you only know the ranking of cards and nothing more then the more chances you will have in the casino :D. You need skills and some luck to win poker.

you can win in principle, but a lot depends on who: where you play, who you play with, and how you will play cards today !!! After all, luck in the game can be changeable every second, and if you have already caught it, then use it to the maximum !!

Online is most suitable for me. Who knows how to play well will have a profit in the оnline. You need to properly apply your skill. Play there and at those tables that suit you.

I would say it depends on your character. When you are excellent at assessing other persons real emotions, mimics etc. then your chances to win will probably be higher at live-poker.

On the other hand you can play much more hands / tournaments when playing online. So, if you win an average of 1 out of 1000 tournaments you will earn more money online.

I know some professional players who merely play online cash games. Not on pokerstars etc but on kind of private Chines sites.

All the best to you. :)
