Icon Images players for the playing table

Hi the ALL CardsChat Community!
I would want discuss using Icons Images players... They influence at your consciousness,
may be on subconscious, or don't you care? May be you choose themes of poker tables
without Icons Images, how I doing sometimes, that they not interfered to concentrate on the
own game. And by yourselves use Icon Image, or prefer to play without her?

I do not understand what is Icon Image.
Do you mean player avatar ?
Please explain in more detail.

There are studies conducted by specialists who say that both the icon or avatar and even the username describe the personality of the player ... these studies say that each person consciously or unconsciously chooses their avatar and username according to their personality ... !

I do not care and it does not really affect me. I rather look at the playing style of my opponent and judge afterwards.

I use an avatar during the game but it's more to influence the decisions of my opponents. I know it's unlikely but I think it can help on some spots.

what is icon image btw?

To use a preferred avatar or any image, for me, is just part of the fun the poker games provides. It's possible an image may give some tell, but too little to take an account

They dont mean much to me pick ones that are funny or animals that i like to hunt.

Players with usernames like donk, fish, bluffer etc generally play exactly like the username implies or exactly opposite of what the username implies.

I wasn't going to comment but this one sums it it up. He cover if both sides of the argument in one sentence. My poker name is Can-you-see-me. Please define what that name suggest. Just interested is all.:heeeellll

Just a guess, you like to see flops.

I use a picture of a flaming skull. I don’t necessarily use it to intimidate players I just like the picture.

However in one circumstance with the picture and bet size I get a lot of folds. For some reason once the blinds (in sit and gos and tourneys) reaches around 100/200 and above I will raise into people with a 666 bet. Even if the big blind is 600 for 66 more chips I’ve pushed out almost the entire table

During the game, I prefer to remove all annoying factors: I set sounds, chat and table animation to a minimum level or turn it off.

I think it has nothing to do with more than the player's psychological personality.

I personally feel that it doesn't affect my game!
I don't usually pay attention when I'm game-focused to those things.

I like to think my opponents see my name and avatar and, at some level, will see me as a loose playing drunk when they are trying to make a tough decision. (which I am, or not)

I turned the ACR avatars off. They are annoying...

I like to look at the avatars while playing. Sometimes it's a lot of fun.

First i played without avatar but then luckily i went to use this "you are next" guy and it has stayed ever since

I think somehow that avatar picture shows something how you are or want to be

I try to find an avatar that reflects me in some manner or another. If the room allows me to download one it will currently be the one you see here over to the left, which is a picture of me aiming the rifle I received on my twelfth birthday. If they provide the avatars I'll pick the woman who seems to be the most like me.

My most used name is EmilyWT which has caused some confusion to at least one person. Another player once asked me what the "WT" stood for, and seemed disappointed when I said it was my initials. I looked it up later and turns out it means "white trash". LOL!!
