My first ACR experience

Had some trouble getting the right card to work today to make my first deposit on ACR. Had a few issues that should be fixed by tomorrow. In the meantime I found a freeroll that starts almost hourly 10$ prize pool. I won($2.50) the 7th or 8th one I played. Then it popped up and offered me double or nothing picking red or black. LESSON LEARNED LOL
Hopefully tomorrow I will be playing in normal tournaments !

That's a good start winning the freeroll. I never try to double my money, when I win anytime on ACR. Any way nice job on the win and hope you have more success in the future.

Free rolls

i love playing the freerolls on acr I haven’t won anything yet had some good hands but the table seemed to like the other players more. I’ve done the double or nothing and have won a couple times and lost a couple of times it’s a nice way of making some quick money if you win.

Hello.
I play poker for only 5 months, but in one of the freerolls from our community, I took 7th place in the CardsChat tournament.This is a great achievement for me. I was also asked to try guessing the color of the map, but I declined, because it is more like a roulette on the casino.

Thank you guys! I will definitely decline the double up next time!. Still having issues making first deposit, I believe it's at least partly my fault, either way hope to see you guys on the tables soon(may need to make an acct under my girlfriend's name since the debit card is in her name)

Congratulations on cashing in the freeroll. They do have a lot of freerolls to play there so that is a big plus. Yeah, I always decline that double up option too even though it is really tempting at times.

Congrats cashing the freeroll. I play ACR as my main online site. I am currently taking a break from online play because i have terrible bankroll management when i hit a small downswing. Keep at it, i think you will like the site and the games it offers.

I'm STILL trying to make my first deposit. Half my own fault because the debit card is my girlfriends. And had to make a new acct with her name, but now it says the debit card cant be used because it is on another user(myfirst attempt)'s account. Emailed support and hopefully they can either delete the original account(which never had a deposit work) or atleast remove the card from that account so I can use it to deposit on the account we made under her name.

Congratz on the freeroll. THe double or nothing feature in ACR is mainly a gambling thing where you can double of your winning money or nothing, I normally just ignore it.

Congrats on the freeroll. It must've been so called on-demand freeroll which I played only once. I got into the final table and busted but it took almost 4(!) hours (as it has regular format). Being that excruciatingly long I regretted entering that tourney - imo the prize pool doesn't justify the time spent at all.

You'd better use your own name and card because you can face problems later when trying to withdraw. For example, I verified my account in Pokerdom (russian poker room) - I had to send to support the photo of me holding my passport by my face to prove my identity. And what are you gonna do if you and your girlfriend split up?

Play against people (poker), and not against the machine (casino and similar red / black). If you won some money - use them to build your bankroll further. Do not rely on luck in doubtful bonuses, use your skill.

Congrats on the placings in the freeroll. I never play the double or nothing however i do spin to get in alot. To me its worth the risk and it usually doesn't require alot of your bankroll. I do also limit myself to smaller tournys and only 4 attempt to get in.

After living Together for 6 years I think we will be just fine

I would be very cautious about using someone else's name and card to create an account. If you read the fine print of the terms and conditions, it's very clear that there are all sorts of hoops you have to jump through with regard to your identity, bank/card account, etc. My biggest concern would be that I would be allowed to deposit but, when it is time to withdraw, there would be complications and I would not be allowed to withdraw.

Even married couples with kids get divorced. Also you can't rule out that accidents happen. So using somebody else's identity doesn't just violate any poker room rules but also can affect you through unforeseen personal problems.

In any case if you plan to just spend some money on poker (for fun) it should be fine. But if you intend to win/withdraw money as a result your approach should be revised.

Just an FYI you can change it so the double or nothing doesn't pop up, it is still a button, but doesn't have that obtuse pop up

I play at ACR a short time ago, but it is already becoming one of my favorite rooms. There are several reasons why I liked it, including:
- The good bonus for the first deposit
- A good tournament grid
- Good service when I needed help
You're probably going to see me a lot at those tables.

My first experience with ACR was a good one. Deposited with a credit card, received a nice welcome bonus that was not complicated and was consistent. Enjoy their tables more than any other site I have used.

Youcam tale away the choose black or red.

Congrats to surviving 3++ hours to get ITM at an ACR freeroll.
Once, got ITM, felt super confident, went for black, of course it comes up red, I lose.
To take the red/black option away:

At ACR main page, click options, table options, tell it you don't wanT the "choose red or black", when exiting the table.

Not saying don't choose red or black, but it seems like the consensus of the members here is: I tried red or black once; never again.
