Do you prefer to play online poker over live poker?

What would you like to play more,online poker or live poker and why?For me would be better online poker cause i am not quite good to hide all my expressions of happines or sadnes.Once while i was playing live poker on $15-25 table,i was with like $660 in front of me and my hand was 5/6 of spades and i was on big blind.My opponent raised on 100 and i called.The flop was 2 of hearts and 3/4 of spades,I checked he checked.Then was opened A of hearts i checked again,he checked again and the river was K of diamond and i checked again(was hoping for him to bet cause he always bet on strong hand) and unfortunately he checked again.And after showdown he told me that my face after the floop was like the face of 6-years after the dad bought first ball and that was the reason he did not bet anytime.Your stories???

Thank you for your post. I prefer live. Currently I play online because I am located in a state where casinos are not legal. I prefer live because one of my best skills in poker is attention to detail and I feel it gives me a slight edge on my opponents. Your story was great it made me smile 😁. Good Luck

I still wanted to play in a live poker tournament but I played on the internet for the most part

Hello. I particularly prefer to play live. Speaking of your hand, I would have bet on the turn. I would probably draw flush draws of holding 2 as well.

For me it is different feeling,in live game i feel action and and excitement,in online game i feel like Robot :D :D :D

I currently play online to better myself, as you can play many more hands to analyze your play. I do prefer to play live though as it is slower and get more time to think.

So far I prefer online poker its convenient, quicker, easier and I have no reason to feel nervous. I have only ever played one live tournament and I was very nervous as I made it to the final table. People were standing all around my heart was just a racing. It was very exciting. Maybe with more practice doing live I might grow comfortable.

I find online much easier for now because I am also not that familiar with what to do or not to do, hand gestures, etiquette, counting my chips, where to place them etc its a bit over- whelming. We sometimes have family games to help learn more but its never often enough. When I first learned to play it was online and its just so much easier for me at this time

At the moment i play more online poker, because of corona, but i think in the next year, when everything is becoming normal, than live poker comes back again great...

live poker is always with my friends! and I know them so much that it is very easy for me to play it. online poker amuses me because I am calm at home, listening to music and playing a good tournament or table

I prefer play online poker! I think that online is better because you can play multitable and you can play at home :)

I've enjoyed playing both but I prefer on line. I like the fact I can grab a sandwich without paying a waiter. The bathroom is around the corner instead of a 5 minute walk. And, of course, I can play in my underwear if I want :)

I prefer online because live I couldn't yell "don't pay" when I bluff the river =)=)

From the very begining i play online poker only so i can't get comparision of it. I think playing live poker can get you big experience. I must try it some day.

I can play many tables, play it when i want, from my house - no need to go anywhere...for me it is enough :D

I didn't play much live poker at all... A few homegames and a single live tournament years ago. It wouldn't be possible to play as much live as I played online because there are no casinos in brazil. That said, I do enjoyed the few times I played live more than online, mostly because of the friendly environment and not even poker itself.

yes, in live poker people read you like an open book. If you put on a large hood and dark glasses and sit all the time in a lump, then there is hope for a successful game. :icon_rr:

I actually like both. I like live mode as I would like to believe there's a reduction of possible ways that players can cheat (w.r.t to online play).

I don't usually play live. It’s much more convenient online and I don’t even have to hide my emotions in the meantime. If I want to jump after pulling a big pot, no one is looking at me questioning if it’s a fool. So super. :)

Never tried live poker really. However, I imagine live game has this psychological factor of keeping poker face and being able to read other players. I have no idea how that would affect me. I imagine there would be a lot to learn.

I like online poker more, i try live twice and had situacion when i hit my set with pocket AA , i couldnt hide it .. my hands start shaking when i grabed the chips to reraise.. I know its all practice and expirience, and some day maybe i'll get better. For now coffe, beer and comfy chair at home ;)
