Been grinding out Micros to introduce myself to poker with minimal risk, I've been playing 02/04 almost exclusively at a Winrate of 4.15 BB/100. About 19000 hands, After doing some research Pt4's BB actually stands for Big Bet, If this is true will my winrate in terms of big blinds be 8 Bb/100? If this is the case is 8 bb/100 acceptable to move up in stakes to 05/10, it's taking me an age to build a bankroll from grinding 02/04, so I was thinking of just depositing more and hitting 5/10 Thanks for reading any advice appreciated.

Thank U 4 Posting.

BB in no limit is BIG BLIND in Limit BIG BET is when the bets double on the turn and river.
The normal 4.15/100 BB is usually referring to Big Blinds per 100.

Your win rate is only part of why you would move up. If for instance your current villains where very weak a good player's win rate in the same games could be 12/100 BB where you are winning 4.15/100.

So the key to moving up is do you have superior skills to those you are playing.

How do you evaluate your skills?

What skills will you need vs better villains that are not necessary at the level you are playing?

Have you been working on the changes in your hand ranges in different positions vs better players?

Just some thoughts for you.

Hope this helps

:):)

Not sure what kind of roll you have but before moving up make sure your roll can withstand the variance. Dont want to take couple losses and have NO bankroll left. It needs to withstand a few bad losing sessions

Good luck at the tables!!

Thanks for replies,
You've given me a few things to think about, Tbh I'm going to keep going at nl4, I'm pretty happy there atm and it's a good place to increase my skills and experience. I do also need to increase my roll before I move up in stakes,
I've played another 5k hands and I'm now playing at 5.01/100bb, a small improvement but an improvement nonetheless.
