Banned online gambling in Croatia

I read the article yesterday, ours corrupt and thief's politicians finally understand how much money they lost on taxes and they want to ban online gambling.Croatia is one of rares country who allowed online gambling, its just because they do not have any clue whats going on, because they occupied with stealing money...here the is article on croatian language to read .

They only think about how they can steal some more money, and that is just sad.. Only taking from the people and nothing to give..its depressing..

Corruption is cancer of society, even more than war..We are not be devastating like today even trough war.I do not just say for Croatia, I mean all countries in former Yugoslavia.They give us democracy in so many wrong ways, they just split us to explore our resources and for geopolitical status. We have today bunch of bananas republics for elites who are pounding on the chest and yall like some monkeys Imamo Hrvatsku,Ovo je Srbija.All that idiots of nations buy and if war again came they died for these cheaters.I am just sad for peoples who dies for this corruption mafia states,poor people.

Unfortunately many countries are in this prohibition, I hope that here in brazil this question does not happen.

Here in Bulgaria only pokerstars is allowed to play, maybe because their Technical support and back up server are located in Sofia and somehow they resist.
There are also a number of less popular poker sites still possible to play, like: Betson poker, Breakout poker, etc. But we can not play 888, party poker, BWIN etc ...

All this is very sad.

Still wanting to ban and/or actually doing that are completely different things.
And even if they do i am sure that many croatians(just like you?) will find a solution which suits them...

For example here in Estonia basically all foreign gambling sites are blocked(or those who don't have license etc) but that won't stop us using those banned websites

The first thing they do when they see more people are hooking up (so to speak) to something, or doing something, anything, they raise taxes or put taxes where they havent been...literrally i mean,where does it end? I get it that you have to steal some for yourself, but dude, dont be mean..

Yes,they want ban foreign gambling sites because they cant control taxes and on on Croatian gambling sites taxes are so hu8ge,think its around 40% .What idiots and stupid politicans they are is prove because we are touristic country and not have one deacent casino on coast because huge taxes.

You will have huge problems if all sites will be banned, It means that you will not be able to play?

I think that in Croatia we will never banned online betting or poker.

I'm not sure how they are going to ban something online that people want to use with things like TOR out there. A ban hasn't worked in the US and other places....

You know who start with that and why ? Miskovic,president of Nk Rijeka. Politicans not have clue whats going on and he is businessman snake who want piece of cake,politicans aaare corrupt and stupid,they not have idea what people do in real life.

You can use TOR or other VPNs and play at most.

The government does not have the right to stop people from gambling. No government has that right and the moment they start to think they do is when they're no longer useful for us anymore.

Bet365 is also available. Everybody who agreed to register through local company and pay taxes locally is ok to run gambling business. It looks like the same will happen in Croatia also.

It is sad to hear these story that in moder society still heppens such things it is a shame.

Death and taxes only thing guaranteed in this life.

In Romania, we can play poker just on 3 websites now pokerstars, unibet and 888 because now the government are taking the taxes directly from the poker sites and just these websites complied with that for now.
