Hi,

I have a strange question to ask and I know I might sound crazy by asking it, but it just bothers me too much to keep it just for me:

When I have a tournament in play on a particular site, I avoid opening another online site as I imagine that site B would penalize me in some way for being on another site.

Be honest please... Am I overzealous?

Yes you are ,

Third party programs like Equilab or PokerStove can not running simultaneously with your poker clients otherwise you can play at the same time in as many poker rooms as you want.

You are too cautious honestly, there are no reason to get flag for playing on various sites, it's not like you are cheating on you gf :p As akmost wrote, there is a chance for not being able to play on two poker sites simultaneously but only in case that both poker sites you play on are using the same platform. Anyone out there please correct me if i'm wrong
Cheers

yes you are a little too overzealous :)
anyway it is not recommended to play several tables at the same time because you will not be able to play at your best level. except for the cash game because with several tables you will have more chance to find AA.

You are not getting punished by others than yourself :D

Just make sure your feeling good with different software on your desktop
when your playing, and its not gonna be a minor distraction.
A distraction that may keep you from playing your A game.
If you fine with that, you should be fine overall ;)

I'm curious, how do you think they would penalize you?

There is no problem with having DIFFERENT poker sites open at the same time. You just can't have the SAME poker site open multiple times.

Yes and no.

To answer your first question, yes you are being too cautious. If it was within their power, they would most likely do the opposite, and try and keep on their site.

As for your second question, with the little information that I have, I'd say no you are not being overzealous.

"Overzealous" and "too cautious" have different meanings. Good luck with your games.

Thanks all for the unanimity!

For those who asked, I meant on 2 separate sites and I'm able to play two tournaments at the same time. I try to separate by few hours each one of them to fully concentrate on each one.

I once had 4 at the same time! When you're getting staked and you're getting a good run in the first 3 tournaments, why cancel the 4th that was scheduled? :p You don't want to make your investors angry... As you're making profits for you and for them!
