Hey everybody,

Let's post some screenshots and observations from the Main Event. I just glanced at the leaderboard, and with some other threads here discussing women in poker, it's great to see two prominent female players in the chip lead currently (Melanie Weisner and Maria Ho).

WSOPMain 2016

There's still a lot of poker left to be played, so it's not yet time to celebrate, but how great would it be for the November 9 concept, which seems to have become stale, with many people thinking it has run its course, if one or both of these women make the final table. Jennifer Shehade (one of the Grindettes) has a top 35 stack as well.

Also, lots of big names still left in the Main Event, including some former final tablists and champions from Main Events past (Antoine Saout - from the Joe Cada year; Greg Raymer - 2004 Main Event Champion; Marc-Etienne McLaughlin - The Ryan Riess year; Will Tonking - The Martin Jacobson year; Doug Kim - The Jamie Gold Year; Johnny Chan - Two time Main Event Champion, and others).

It's going to be a fun finish to this year's Main Event.

This is very hard tournament, you need to play 12 hours a day for more then a week.

As much as I like poker this is too much.

Yes agree, it is difficult both physically and above all psychologically. But to be the final table- it's worth it

I hope Carl Trooper will read this. He played in the Main Event last year, ran pretty deep. He actually was crippled and then eliminated by one of the November Nine playes, Zvi Stern. He was grossly unlucky as he had Stern all-in for his tournament life earlier in the tournament, and Stern got very lucky.

He can tell you about the grind of playing this particular tournament.

Down to the final two tables. Now it's going to get REAL interesting. There's many supporters of some of these players left based on other threads.

Are there any short stack miracles to happen?
Will the leaders remain where they are?
Who will be the final table bubble boy?
Who do you "want" to be the final table bubble boy?

We'll know in a few short (or not so short) hours who the final 9 will be.

FT

Woohoo. My friend made it to FT of the main event. Griffin Benger just made a minimum of 1 million dollars, but I hope he does better than that. Here is a glimpse of final chipcounts.
